HOW TO REACH THE CONGRESS CENTRE

From Milan take the A9 Milan-Chiasso motorway; take the COMO Nord exit (the last exit for Italy); then follow the signs for Villa Erba. Our multi-storey car park is 200m from the Conference Centre.
From Lugano take the Lugano-Milan motorway; take the CERNOBBIO Lago exit 200 metres after customs.

By train

Ferrovie Nord Milano (www.ferrovienord.it): Departures from Piazza Cadorna, Milan, train for COMO Lago; alight at the last stop, COMO Lago. Outside the station is the bus stop for line CC6, COMO-Maslianico; alight at Villa Erba (www.sptlinea.it, tel 031.247111). The journey is around 4km.
Ferrovie dello Stato (www.trenitalia.com): Departures from Milano Centrale or from Milano Porta Garibaldi, destination Chiasso, alight at COMO San Giovanni. Outside the station is the bus stop for line CC6, COMO-Maslianico; alight at Villa Erba (www.sptlinea.it, tel 031.247111). The journey is around 5km.

Aeroporto di Malpensa (www.sea-aeroportimilano.it), around 35 km away.
From Malpensa it is possible to take the Malpensa Express train to Saronno; change here for the Ferrovie Nord Milano train for COMO Lago. Outside the station is the bus stop for line CC6, COMO-Maslianico; alight at Villa Erba (www.sptlinea.it, tel 031.247111). The journey is around 4km. Alternatively a bus service connects the airport to COMO Lago, run by SPT (www.sptlinea.it, tel 031.247111). Timetable for departures to COMO: 9.20 - 11.00 - 14.15 - 16.45 - 19.25, daily service.

The registration desk, located at the entrance of the congress area, will be open for the period of the congress as follows:

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of the congress will be English.

PARKING AT CONGRESS

A car parking with fee (estimated cost 10 euro per day) will be available close to the congress centre. Please indicate in the online registration form if you foresee to need the parking

A shuttle service (with ferryboat) "Hotels / Congress Centre / Hotels" will be provided during the whole duration of the congress and for the Social Dinner on Saturday April 10. The schedule and the pick up point will be posted in the hotel lobbies and at the congress centre. In addition please find at the following link the timetables for the public ferryboat and bus service.

BARS AND CATERING SERVICE

During the Congress, the participants will find food and beverage services inside the Congress Centre. Furthermore on Thursday 8, Friday 9 and Saturday 10 April 2010, a fee-paying catering service will be provided in the appropriate area of the Congress Centre.
The menu (different on each day) will consist of a unique course. A vegetarian menu will be also available.
Tickets-lunch can be booked by those who register to the congress on the online system.

Tickets-lunch will be available onsite as well.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

The certificate of attendance will be issued to those who are properly registered, only for the day(s) they are actually taking part to the congress. The certificate of attendance will be available at the registration desk and must be picked up just before departure.

CME CREDITS

A request of accreditation for CME points has been submitted to the European Accreditation Council. The credit points will be announced on the Congress website as soon as they are available. You will receive your certificate upon request at the Registration Desk. The 4th ECV will be accredited also for Italian participants according to Ministry of Health rules.

NAME BADGE

Participants will be given a name badge when they check in at the registration desk. The name badge must be worn at all time, because only registered participants will be allowed to enter the congress area.

VISAS

Foreign people may need a visa to enter Italy, which can easily be obtained from the nearest Italian consulate or embassy. Whether a visitor requires a visa depends on the nationality and how long he/she intends to stay in Italy.
